» Feature Writer Jerry Lopper - Consider another goal setting process

SMART, the widely used goal setting process is a favorite of business and organizations because it's linear, measurable, and easy for managers to track and control.

SMART is very left-brain, analytical, and logical. That's my background and experience, too.

But I'd like to propose a smarter ;-) process that I've coined as SAFE, for See, Accept, Feel, Express.

SAFE brings in the right-brain functions of big-picture visualization, intuition, and transcendence. Actually SAFE is whole-brain oriented, which makes a lot of sense to me.

Please read my article titled Creative Goal Setting and voice your opinions. Can you see where you may have used this method yourself, though subconsciously? Many of us have done so.
