The Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI), The
Ohio State School for the Blind (OSSB), Ohio School for
the Deaf (OSD), and the Ohio Center for Deafblind
Education (OCDBE) presents a conference under the
direction of Ohio Department of Education, Office for
Exceptional Children:

A Collaborative Conference on Autism and Low Incidence
Disabilities*

impairments, autism and deafblind, and other multiple
disabilities

The Ziggurat Model: a comprehensive process for team
problem solving and intervention strategies.

Teresa Pawletko, Ph.D., Pediatric/School Psychologist and
Consultant, specializing in visual impairments and autism,
from New Hampshire

Jay and Marilyn Gense: authors of Autism Spectrum
Disorders and Visual Impairment: Meeting Students'
Learning Needs (AFB Press, 2005); experts in the fields of
blindness, deafblindness, orientation and mobility, and
autism, Oregon Department of Education

Ruth Aspy, Ph.D. and Barry Grossman, Ph.D, authors of The
